Statutory Durable Power
of Attorney
A less restrictive alternative to Guardianship is a Statutory Durable Power
of Attorney. A power of attorney allows you to designate an agent to
handle your business affairs in the event you become incapacitated.
The powers in any power of attorney are broad and sweeping. Therefore,
it is of the utmost importance that you have the highest confidence in the
integrity and diligence of the persons you appoint in such a document.
Please consult an attorney before signing ANY power of attorney.
The Duran Firm charges a flat fee of $100.00 to draft and supervise the
execution of a Statutory Durable Power of Attorney.

wishes, including your religious and moral beliefs.
